Palo Santo is a tree that grows on the coast of South America, related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal.  In Spanish, the name literally means “Holy Wood”. Palo Santo is used to cleanse objects and spaces for a renewed sense of energy.

Using a candle, match or lighter to light one stick of Palo Santo.  Hold at about a 45 degree angle pointing the tip down toward the flame.  Allowing it to burn for 30 secs to 1 minute and then gently blow out, the wood should continue to smoke.  Move about the space you would like to clear the energy and set a renewed intention.   When you have finished, place the wood in a fire proof platter or bowl.. Never leave flame unattended.

Use as often as needed, perfect for part of your weekly bedroom cleanse, prior to meditation or an energy boost.
